Community Policing Forums should have a website where they can distribute information to members. The Kwikwap websites have many features that are specifically aimed at clubs and organisations such as Events Calendar, Announcements and a Forum.

Our websites also have a Members Only section where sensitive information can be shown only to registered users.

In addition to the above, we also have a CPF module which allows registered CPF members to send instant bulk SMS's to other registered members of your community (e.g. suspicious activities etc). You may add any member of your existing Mailing List to your CPF list (community). This module is free but you will need to pay for each SMS sent by your community @ 25c each.

A member that is part of the community simply SMS's the "CPF code" followed by the message to "082 6 99999 2 " and we will forward the particular message to everyone on the community list. For example, a member will sms the following: "abc Watch out for three men with orange overalls running down Menlyn road". The abc is for example your CPF code. The total message may not exceed 160 characters.

Because this system can quickly run up a large SMS bill, we will require that you purchase additional SMS's when your SMS count has reached 1,000 at any stage during the month.

To set up your CPF website will cost you only R2,500 and thereafter R59+VAT per month.
